HELP SWC DUKE
Duke you helped me before so I am hoping you can help again. A Corvette friend recently gave me several distributor caps he thought were for Corvettes. The first one glossy brown with d309 & 1942654 on the box and nor "r" on top of the cap. Second,same thing but 309r. Thrid, duller brown caps with no box and patent # 2769047 one with a small r and another with a large r. Do you or anyone else know what these are for? Thanks I realy appreciate the help.

Yeah, we need Joe to decode this one. I know the L-88s used a special brown colored
cap with brass or copper terminals on the TI and an original probably has significant value, but I
never really worry about having the right cap for my car other than the fact that it is a
seventies vintage Delco replacement.
