It will take more the one phone call or letter so have all you friends and family and co-workers etc. do the same. Then they will get the message. Then there AZZ will be in the unemployment line.
Unfortunately, I don't think the other party will be any better at getting us out of this mess. They're all crooks in my opinion.

Many of the assesors lowered assessments but raised the multiplier to make up the difference. Take a good look at the pension funds on your tax bills, that's where the hits are. That is what needs reform. Time for those who don't fund their own retirement to start doing so starting with those elected politicians.

Added to your increased payroll deduction is increased focus and attention for on line purchases that you did not pay Illinois sales tax on. If I read things correctly you owe on these items for purchases between June 2004 and December 2010 (which you can pay without penalty @ 6.75%).

70%-80% of our taxes go to local school districts.

At least they're not Mike Madigan lackeys like the current crop of dems. We'll never see concealed carry or a friendlier business climate in Illinois as long as Madigan is pulling the strings.

To be honest, I think most politicians are crooks, regardless of their affiliation. I've been voting for many years and seldom have I been impressed by anything either party has done.

My brother-in-law was telling me last week that when you reach a certain age in Georgia (I think he said 62 or 63) you no longer pay taxes to the schools. Now that works for me!

They should shut all the schools down and force kids into the army at age 14.

I am planning a trip to Springfield to fling balloons full of urine at the governor's mansion, for those that are interested.
