[SW Ohio] Back from the Detroit Show
Thanks to Harley [HEB] for a really great one-day run to the Detroit Auto Show (or the NAIAS as they call it.) Checked out the C6 - nothing new from other posts. According to Tim's friend Krista the front plate will attach to a $15 bracket mounted to the lower intake lip. Can't wait to see that
Lots of new cars coming - the Pontiac Solstice looked really good and is supposed to retail for $20K. Definite Miata competitor. Porsche Carrera GT - :jester Yes! Caddilac CTS-V should be the car for anyone looking to move from a Vette to a 4-seater. They're going to run them in SCCA Pro Stock with Andy Pilgrim as one of the drivers according to the Cadillac info.
Long day, lots of fun and tired feet. :D

Re: [SW Ohio] Back from the Detroit Show (Mike Mercury)
We arrived about 9:10,parked in the Cobo main parking lot $4:50,purchased tickets and waited about 15 min till they opened up. Crowds were not bad for the first couple hours, after that it was bad., people were still in line when we left at 3:30. If I have the chance to go agin I would go during the week and park on the roof of the Cobo center. The ceiling of the parking garage was driping acid like substance that could damage paint if not removed as soon as possible. Its a great show! had a very good time :yesnod:

Wish I could have made it. I hope this school stuff doesn't stiffle other activities.
