I hate it when people try to fix something that works, and then screw it all up!

2) "My Recent Topics" -- the thread titles will not go gray once you click and open them. They use to go gray so you could tell the old viewed ones from ones that were new ... just like the way it works in the main forums. The My Recent Topics function is basically useless IMO if you can't tell if new posts have been added to the thread.
What he said!!!

PLUS, with regard to the "My Recent Topics" feature... On THIS forum, you would click on "MRT", and what you were following was listed in order of YOUR participation, and ONLY ONCE.

Recently, the LS-1Tech forum added "MRT", but there's some sort of "funky logic" that I can't quite figure out, A number of discussions I've added to, are posted over and over. It appears, I THINK, that each time I add a comment, a "NEW" entry is added to the "MRT" count, and is then scrolled out when I initially click on "MRT".

I may not be explaining myself clearly, but on the other hand, the way that "MRT" operates NOW isn't too clear either....

IT WASN'T BROKEN, WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE "FIXED" ???????

I thought it was my computer messing up on me when that first started, then figured I would check in here, as I am having the very same problem.
I have a 22 inch screen, so it can handle almost anything.
Gonna get fixed anytime soon? I know you guys are probably working your tails off, but this is frustrating as heck, and with not being able to find my current threads...oh well, I guess patience is a vurtue.
Thanks,
Laura

I narrowed things up a little bit ... I tried to fit things to 1024x768 as much as possible. On one of my test machines here, it just about fits completely without having to do major surgery. The scroll bar is visible, but you don't have to use it to see everything on the page.

Are you guys now seeing the same thing I am?

Yup, thats better, so now the next question is, when are we going to be able to go into all our past posts?
Thanks Brains, great job!

I am now getting double delivery of some responses to my posts on here to my email address. Is that happening with anyone else?

I haven't been seeing that myself Laura. But I have noticed some earlier problems have been corrected, such as the hyperlink at the bottom of a page is now back.

They're making progress, give 'em a little more and I'm sure the board tech folks will make it all better

I know they will make it all good, just if they are alerted of the problems, my thinking is those are areas they still have to make good. Just letting them know, but thanks for your input Ken!

Yes, but it you read my post carefully you'd see I said "IE7 only". With IE7 it chops off the emoticon window.

Now today I've looked at this issue on another computer running IE7 and the emoticon window is not chopped, so maybe it's been fixed, or my computer is hosed up but I don't think so since IE7 worked just fine before the s/w change on the board.

I cannot copy & paste from a post to MS Word 2000, which I've been using for 6-7 years. I must either PASTE SPECIAL or use a newer version of WinWord, WORD 2002. I have not knowingly reset any options in Word 2000. SOmeone else mentioned this in a thread in OT that got locked.

Default Search function

I've tried a few different searches and the same result has happen. On some the posts, there are no numbers in the viewed or replies boxes, not even a 0. If you click on one of them an error message comes up "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator". You may already know this but figured I let you know.
Thanks
P.S. I've only searched the C3 forum.
