Default Phot Bucket to Forum?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a hundred times. I've done searches and I've gotten tips but nothing has worked for me, so far. I am a complete dolt when it comes to puters so if maybe someone can explain this to me in LAYMAN'S terms I'd be forever gratefull. I'd really like to post some pictures of my `01 vert, and put them in my profile or maybe even a avatar. I have been successful getting them from my camera to my desktop to Photo Bucket but I can't seem to get them to the Forum. I get error messages Can someone please, please help this old man get this fugured out. Maybe if you pm'd me or something I could get this done, finally
Thank you very much!

Pete,
try clicking on the picture in photobucket.
When the picture comes up, right click your mouse on the pic.
At the bottom will be properties.
click on properties where you'll see the url address.
right click on your url address and it will say select all.
click on select all then right click again and you'll see a highlighted area.
right click again and select copy.
Come back to your post and right click and select paste.
This should give the url address on your post.
after that you'll need to have thses marks around your url address
like this this should post your pic on a thread.
To attain a pic as an avatar you'll need to reduce your picture size to 150 pixelsx150 pixels with some of the free picture reducers available on the internet. You can do this on your pc no photobucket needed for avatars.
Hope this helped some.....Ron

You really don't even have to do that in Photobucket. Simply click on the text "IMG Code" and that will automatically copy the picture link into the clipboard. When you do that, you should see the IMG code be highlighted.

To insert the pic, just use the Edit, Paste fucntion or just hit both the Crtl and V key on the keyboard to place the correct IMG code where you want the pic to be in the post.

When posting mutiple pics, you should "stack" the IMG code (only one per line) instead of running them together like a sentence. That way, the pics will be stacked vertically. If the IMG code is inserted one after the other like a sentence, the pics will be side by side and the page will become very wide.
