Just start deleting what you don't need. Click the box, go to selected messages at the bottom, find delete and done.

Go into your inbox and do selection of message you do not need no more and then delete them from the pull down selection at the bottom of the inbox and you can do the same for sent PMs

On the main menu page towards the bottom, there is a Help Forum for these types of questions. You might need to know how to post images, image hosting sites, how to contact a moderator, etc.

You can click the red triangle beneath your user name to contact a moderator to intervene in a thread, move or delete a thread, for instance.

If you don't find it already asked/answered, ask away and someone will reply or a moderator will assist you...

When you click on the Private Messages link in the top right corner of the page, it should take you to your Inbox.
In the section at the top of the page above your messages, there is a link to Empty the Folder. (following the statement of how many message you have stored above the colored bar)
Try clicking on that.
If that does not work, check the box at the very top of the column of boxes to the right of your messages. That will put check marks by each message. Then go to the bottom and click on the drop down menu and select Delete and then GO.
