I have requested an update. To be fair, I'm not 100% sure this was simply an error caused by tech and not something outside. That said, yes, between getting the necessary information along with the Holiday weekend that we all had, it is taking longer than desired to resolve.

IM using Windows 8 and IE 10, and I don't have any back click problems on any other forum outside of this network. I know IE 9 and ten have some support issues, I can no longer use any EXIF reader in any forum including my photographic forum.
My understanding of the issue, from a recent update yesterday, is the issue is due to the way a few ads were coded. IB's ad management is working with the agency to correct the issues. Thanks to the members who provided some information to help track the issue. Once the issue is fixed, it might help to flush the temporary cache of your browser.

For me it's just the BF Goodrich banner ad. When that one is at the top of the page the back function does not work. When it's any other banner it's fine. Maybe you could temporarily remove the offending ad(s) until they can be fixed, if it's going to take weeks to fix them????
The BF Goodrich ad was identified as one having an issue and I'm told it is being re-written today and that should resolve the issues being reported with the back button not working.

Thanks
I agree, The BF Goodrich is the one that seems to hang me up also.
Sorry I don't have a full screen shot nor any other technical help, but can someone tell us why this is happening? It's the worst it has ever been. How do we get rid of this "doubleclickad" crap? It is certainly hindering my enjoyment of the site.
Edit: Any time there is a Michelin banner at the top, I find the doubleclickad.
