Command Prompt

Then type ipconfig /flushdns

Did as you say, a black screen comes up has no return button..

You first have to type the command onto the black screen:

ipconfig /flushdns

Once you have done that, hit the "enter" key on your keyboard.

It will clear the dns cache for you as well as a lot of other bs stuff stored. One of the best utilities out there.

Had same problem. I'm on Comcast and the Corvette Forum was the only website I was having problems with. I tried going through my aircard which uses my cell service and was able to get through to Corvette Forum. This was just a temporary fix.

I just changed my DNS to an "openDNS" server and now all is well in my internet land. I did a google search and the google and openDNS servers came up to be the most popular and the fastest. The google servers are unfiltered and the openDNS will let you know if a website has a known malware problem which google servers won't.

Thanks to J T and others who recommended changing the DNS. Hope this helps anyone with same issues.

Problems are back and intermittent now. Everything else works flawlessly except for CF. I am on comcast.
