Mine is up and working fine after all kinds of problems on Friday and Saturday.
As I stated in an earlier post, I am on Comcast and it seems like many others having the problem also are on Comcast.
Is there anyone having a problem that is not on Comcast? Maybe their network is causing the problems and not the forum.
jmc12, it is good to see there is someone else on this forum that is almost as computer illiterate as I am.
I don't even know what DNS means.

Alright all this is wonderful for you guys who understand this but...if Comcast all of a sudden has some problem "transmitting" the Forum what is the solution for the unwashed masses? I've done the DNS scrub (whatever the heck that is) and it's still on and off.
And when there is an answer maybe it should be a sticky

Do the hosts fix in the post above, it will fix the issue
I appreciate the quick reply but I have absolutely no idea what that means. Yes I can read it but it's utterly incomprehensible to me.
You couldn't be more clueless than me about how computers work, so if I can do it, you can do it.
google for instructions based on your browser and version. I followed J T's suggestions on fixing my desktop last night, but went back to fix my laptop a few minutes ago.
I searched google as follows: dns addressing how to change windows vista
I got a link, clicked it and followed the illustrated, step-by-step instructions.
Then I did a dns flush as described earlier in this thread. Laptop now works on Corvetteforum.
Well, I am another member that now has a problem getting on the CorvetteForum.
This has been going on for the last 2 days. This is the ONLY website that I can't always get on. In the last 2 days, I have been lucky enough to get on the board maybe 3 times (like right now), but normally the CorvetteForum is not working for me.
I am using a desktop computer with Windows 7 (64-bit) and IE 10. My internet provider is Comcast.
1. I can't understand how the CorvetteForum worked great 3 days ago, but not now? What changed in the last 2 days?
2. Also, I can't understand how I am sometimes able to get on (like now), but most of the times I can't? ... it should either work or it shouldn't.

Well obviously in the on again off again it's on this time; but my question more broadly was, shouldn't Comcast have to fix their problem here? Not everyone using the Forum - very very few in fact - will want or be able to do a computer fix. Nor should they. Where'd this foolishness come from, anyway?

Well, I'm glad Comcast has been slow to fix the problem. This made me fix it by using a different DNS. My download and upload speeds have increased just by changing the DNS address. So, ... thanks Comcast.
