It was working for a while yesterday, but it's back to not working AGAIN and there's Infinity at the top of the screen.
I'm not sure I want to deal with this crap, I may go away until after 9-06, the day the XFinity "offer" in the Ad expires - which presumably should also be the end of that ad.

Last night and tonight, can't "back out" of a thread; have to click "C/F", then return to section I was previously in. Click the next interesting-looking thread, go "back" and same thing happens...wasting MUCH of my time. I'm OUTTA here Somebody please let me know when the problem is solved.
FOURTEEN YEARS on C/F and this is absolutely the WORST I've EVER seen it...DAMN SHAME!!!
Try clearing your browser's cache. If you're still seeing the ad, please provide the click-through link so that we can be sure we have the right ad(s).

We'll need a click-through link to locate the offending ad and remove from the pool. Sometimes ads like those occur.
Regarding the Xfinity ad, and possibly being linked to forum issues, a request was made to have the ad removed from the pool.
After reading all the threads regarding ads that overpower the CF pages, I would like to ask again why IB doesn't appear to do any testing of ads placed on the various forums that IB owns?
It would seem to me that a test environment for ads used by IB for their websites would solve these problems. Put the ads there and see what happens. If it's too big or if it causes some sort of difficulty for users, then the ad can (and should!) be modified to fit/work properly before going into a "production" environment.
There is no reason why IB can't specify standards for ads in terms of size and how they must work on the IB websites. Maybe IB should consider rejecting problematic ads or at least notifying the company providing the ads that something is not working right and that they need to fix them.

That does not work as a fix. In addition, to all these problems using CF with Internet Explorer, now when I mouse over the thread headings, I only see the topic for a second and have to open a thread just to be able to decide if I want to read it or not. All of this is very frustrating and bottom line till it's fixed, I will be on here much less as I am sure others are. Look at when this thread was started, and we are still having to talk about this??
Based on the comments in this thread, it was suspected that the Comcast Xfinity ad may have been related to the described issue. If it is a bad ad, removing it is a fix. Removing the ad that was suspected of being an issue was made. My comment to clear the browser's cache was in regard to if the ad was still being seen as it should have been removed. If there is a different ad that members have spotted as causing an issue, it helps if members provide the requested information.

To provide an update, the team is working behind the scenes on the issues being reported with the back button. They believe they have located the cause and they're working on a more permanent resolution.

Thanks
I vote IB removes the ads in the headers and footers for paying members. That solves it for me
