I do see the C1 thru C7 links at the bottom of the Welcome, userid box. and I did delete all of the CF related cookies; something like 6 or 7 of them. I closed my browser (FF v26.0) restarted it and logged back in. Still can't change the logo.

When I hover my mouse icon over the "C5" selection. at the bottom of my browser window I see:
forums.corvetteforum.com/mics.php?do=changestyle&customstyleid=5. Nothing happens when I click on the C5 link. Or any of them for that matter.

The C7 image itself appears to be at images.corvetteforum.com/images/misc and that C7 logo is c7_corvettelogo.png.

Is the C5 logo file c5_corvettelogo.png????

I'm seeing the exact same thing as C4Cruiser and having the same issue. Cannot change the skin. Cookies, history and cache have all been cleared numerous times. Using FF 26.0

I tried it across all the popular browsers when c4cruiser reported but I could not duplicate the issue. The theme was tested by several before being pushed and that specific feature had no reports of issues.

So we need to determine why it's not working for you.

Like I asked c4cruiser, when you select the style in the welcome area (as shown in the 1st attachment) does the links on the left (as shown in the 2nd attachment) update?

If not, please delete all CorvetteForum cookies and revisit the site. Note that logging out does not clear all cookies. You must physically delete the cookies.

I'm using FF 26 myself. Are you using any extensions?

Those C1 - C7 links are simply plain links. No fancy javascript or anything is used. When any of those links are clicked on, the page should change as if you clicked on any other normal link. You provided the link for C5 when you hover your mouse over it (forums.corvetteforum.com/mics.php?do=changestyle&customstyleid=5) which is the correct link. That link should load like any clicked on link.

Note that the word "community" does not show up no matter which style I select. And I have deleted EVERY cookie I have. So now I have to log into every website I visit now. Three complete cookie deletions have occurred. My only other option is to delete all cookies then shut down the whole danged computer and see if that works.

The "Community" not appearing for you is not due to any cookie issue. I believe that is a usergroup level issue. I'm looking into that.

This does not explain or prevent the logo in the upper left from changing. When I join the same Premium usergroups as you and C4Cruiser, the style change does work and does update that logo in the upper left corner. That logo not changing for some was what I was more focused on as being a reported issue.

Can you give me a specific condition to where you're trying to change the style and it does nothing? Are you on a certain page, certain forum, certain thread, or certain post? Please give a specific condition so that I can review and test so that we're all on the same page.

Thanks.

FYI, did the clear EVERYTHING, then actually shutdown, (not a restart) then started the computer up.

No change. Additional info for you, the exact same issue occurs when I use my mac with OSX 10.9.1 and FF 25.0.1 EDIT, updated to FF 26 on the mac, no change. Don't know what this tells you but there ya go.

Good luck.

With you being a Premium member, did you previously have the "Community" links? When I join that usergroup and try the old themes, I don't have the "Community" links. Instead, I have the Edit links. So I'm not sure if Premium members had the "Community" links like normal accounts did/do as Premium accounts got the custom links allowing to define them themselves.

Understand that I'm a bit in the middle of this figuring and helping out.

Couldn't tell you about the community links thing since I have been a premium member so long, sorry. I do show "edit links" vice "community".
Understand about being in the middle, been there done that before just not regarding websites.

Again, good luck and maybe some of this info will actually help the programmers.

I do know non-premium members only had the Community links as the Edit links was a premium feature. Just wasn't 100% sure if Premium members had both. Doing some checking and testing, it appears Premium members just have the Edit links. So when I said to check if the Community links updates when you try changing the C1 - C7 link, that probably only applies for non-premium members.

Can you give me a specific link (section, thread, post, etc.,) that you've used when trying to update the style without success?

For example, if you view this link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/help-forum-31/ and then try the C1 - C7 links, does it not work? That will help make sure we're on the same page and starting point.

Doesn't work. And just for grins, tried going to the C7 general discussion forum and the C4 gen discussion forum and tried and we are 3 for 3, doesn't work anywhere.

Thanks.
I have tried to change the style when on the CF index page and the C4, C5, Autocross and Road racing, Off Topic, PR&C and this Help section. Nothing works. Neither does being on any specific thread or individual post.

Using Safari, logged out, cleared cache and history, deleted all forum cookies, got out of Safari.
Came back in Safari, logged in and selected C3. Correct Welcome symbol appeared in upper left. No problems accessing features.

Have logged out and deleted all cookies... signed back in with the same results unable to choose different emblems.

Only the C7 emblem is dispaying regardless.

Tired again to get the C5 logo. I logged off which displayed a message box that said all cookies were cleared. I then closed the CF browser window. I Then looked at the cookie list that is available in FF through the options tab and cleared out 5 cookies that had names involving corvetteforum.

Then I closed FF, re-opened it (CF is my default home page) and signed in. I clicked on the C5 link and the page appeared to refresh but the C7 image is still there.

This did not work for me in Safari. That tells me it might have something to do with individual user preferences buried deep within the CF coding/programming. And yes, I am using Safari to post this vice using FF for my previous posts.

Good luck folks.

It is not an account issue as I worked with one of the members who said it's not working for them and borrowed their account. The feature - changing styles - worked while using their account on my machine with various browers. So it's not related to the account itself.

That's why you'll note in a few of my responses that I stated logging out is not enough but I was concerned it was being overlooked. Logging out does not clear all CorvetteForum cookies and that's not all that uncommon.

Please try something to help determine the issue.

1) Load a page here and click on one of the theme besides the C7 theme
2) Right-click in a blank space of the webpage
3) Click on the View Page Source
4) Go to Edit and then Find
5) In the "Find in this page" field, enter corvettelogo.png

Please copy/paste the entire line that you find the above. It will appear something like this:
Code:
 background:url("https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/images/misc/c4_corvettelogo.png") no-repeat ;
Thanks.

What I did was to close the browser, restart it and I loaded this page. I clicked on the C3 link and I got this in the page source:

overflow: auto"> background:url(&quot;https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...logo.png&quot;) no-repeat ;</pre>

It looks like the string got truncated, but it shows /c4_corvettelogo.png
