No, I'm not confused. The links won't be blocked. The CSS, which defines how those links appear (color, style, etc.,), is what is blocked and is why the links will blend into the background without the CSS file loading to properly define the appearance of those links.

Again, simply disable ABP as an extension and reload the page. You'll see those links appear normal.

You're right.

ETA: Nevermind the help, I dug into the page and found what to exclude so I can continue to not see ads and see the links.

The new look still stinks though.

Nope, never have used a mobile device on this site. So for some reason when they implemented the change, they set the default to lightweight. Get the word out and folks will quit pestering you.

This worked for me too!!. I now have the C5 logo that I originally wanted.

Would have been nice if that selection box would have been made know to everyone...

Anyway, it's fixed

That selection box has always been there but the contents would have changed (due to the theme/style options changing). I admit I did not think that was the issue because "Lightweight" is only for mobile devices/browsers. For those to have it on the desktop is pretty odd to say the least. You can't even select that option if you're using a desktop browser as it will detect you're not using a qualified browser.

Note that feature does not change the style/theme on your account, but rather, is cookie-based. The one in the UserCP is account-based. The reason why I could not duplicate it on a few accounts that reported the issue is because their accounts was fine (I even confirmed through the AdminCP that displays the settings per account) but it must have been a browser cookie overriding.

Your own results is rather odd as you stated you selected the C3 theme, your browser's source view shown you should get a C4 picture, but you got a C7 picture. The discrepancies between the first two alone indicate a cache issue as your browser was told to display the C4 logo but you seen the C7 instead.

All of this reminds me of the C7 introduction. So lets all take a step back and not resist change so much, i.e. round taillights going away.

After I saw the C7 in person I was impressed. We should give this new format an opportunity to work w/o all the complaining, of which I was/am guilty myself. Besides, we don't own this website anyway, we just live here rent free

I just love how the color issues are being ignored. Way to take care of your color-blind CUSTOMERS.

If you have some specific suggestions, perhaps I can pass them on.

Yeah, I have a suggestion. The same one I've been posting for the past two days.

Provide an option other than red.

Using red in the way CF looks now goes against Web development best practices for use of color and alienates the 20% of people who are color-blind because we can't see much of the content.
