Default Ok problem with new Design

Alright the old forum had my quick navigation to the C6 section. Now that the new design is up. It has put me to the C5 section for quick navigation. Please fix this. I don't own a C5 anymore lol.

You will need to click on the C6 link in the Welcome area, as shown in the Attachment. When done so, the quick links to the left should reflect the generation for the link you clicked on.

That was the first thing I did. Still reverts it back to C5.

Can you try clearing your CorvetteForum cookies and browser cache? Note that logging out is not the same and will not clear all CorvetteForum cookies. Depending on your browser, you can manually delete all CorvetteForum cookies without deleting other cookies for other websites. Then, revisit CorvetteForum, make sure to keep the Remember Me Selected when you log in, and then click on the C5 link.

OK this is weird. I went to the very bottom where you can change the layout. It was on lightweight. So I changed it to default 2014 and that fixed my problem. Maybe the lightweight layout has a bug in it where it defaults to C5 for everyone? Might want to check up on that.

Thanks for the follow-up. Lightweight is for mobile browsers. It shouldn't be an option unless you're using a mobile device or your browser indicates it's a mobile.

I have chrome linked to my smartphone, as I use chrome on both smartphone and desktop.

Just to add I was having the same issue across all my computers with Chrome.

They were all set to Lightweight. Switching to Default 2014 fixed it issue. It's not a cookie issue from what I can tell.

The Lightweight is for mobile devices. Was you asking CorvetteForum on a mobile device or using a direct bookmark?

Default Top banner is wider than page

The directory banner that has the User CP and other Forum links is wider than the page. Every screen change requires resizing the page. This is on every template. (iPad, iOS 7.0.4).

Also, when logging in, how do I get the site from asking if I want the mobile ap. No I don't want the ap or the delay.

on the top should the Corvette flag stay the same no matter what forum you're in (c2/3/6 ? I thought it changed depending where you are?? I'll look for a list of changes and enhancements.. BTW running Win8.1 and IE11..

Can't switch back to lightweight from a Desktop. I'll try my phone.

Edit, No change from phone viewing in Mobile mode. May just be a one time thing.

That's correct behavior. The Lightweight is a mobile skin and will only load correctly if the system detects a mobile device/browser.

I fired up one of the test boxes. Right now after logging on it's set to Lightweight.

I have not cleared the cookies on this hardware yet. Win7 with Chrome.

Setting C3 currently doesn't change anything. Let me know if you want me to check anything but I think just setting Default will work.

ok so now when I click the forum type (c2 etc.. ) the flag does change but then it doesn't actually go to that forum which is what I would expect.. It does change on the left side under community tho.. Is that proper behavior?

Yes, that's proper behavior. It just changes the CorvetteForum logo in the upper left corner and the links to the left column.
