This crap with the Cloudfare is really growing old!
I just finished writing a detailed PM to someone, only to have it lost when I went to preview and proof read it, and Cloudfare checked by browser and after waiting over a minute, never reloaded the PM. I usually try to proof read things I post, by using the "Go Advanced" button, but I've now lost 3 or 4 posts when Cloudfare has decided to "check my browser"!
If you are using AOL will everything get back to the way it was, sometime in the future, or are AOL users forever out of luck. Simple answer please.

The measures are temporary.

Mine takes much longer than the "up to five seconds" to load.
Safari on a Mac.
and just as I was trying to post this it made me go back and then reload.
I believe the isolated bugs are Cloudflare's end and so it's up to Cloudflare to address. But I want to restate that a real DDOS without protection means the site would be nearly totally unusable to legitimate traffic/members as that is the goal of a DDOS attack - to disrupt the site from being accessible to legitimate traffic.
I only see it when I load my browser for the first time. Then for the rest of my session I don't see it. The site has been slower as of late, but I assume that's because the traffic has to pass thru this cloudflare service.
What's odd is on my work PC is that since this started I can't scroll if I have a # in the URL, so now I have to always click last page and then find the last post instead of using the link from User CP. At home everything is fine. Could be a work firewall and cloudflare issue where they don't like each other.
The configuration was set back to normal earlier this week. So this thread and all the contents are now outdated and don't apply because the configuration is back to normal operating mode.
I'd try clearing your browser's cache and making sure you don't have any 3rd party plugins or add-ons. Inability to scroll because of a # in the URL is not normal and isn't something I can't produce.
