This morning (4/26/17) when I logged on to the C1-C2 Forum the following message popped up: Checking your browser before accessing corvetteforum.com.

DDoS protection by Cloudflare

I noticed that the user information on the left side of the screen was not being displayed. I also noticed that the message popped up when I tried to respond to another post.
After logging on several times the user information finally appeared.
Is this something new? What is the browser being checked for?
Site appears to have crashed last night. No details on why or for how long. I got the same message this morning. Seems to be okay for me now. If you are getting error messages, try deleting your cookies and clearing your cache.
The message is legitimate and comes from Cloudflare. CorvetteForum is behind Cloudflare's DDOS protection due to a DDOS event.
While it may be inconvenient seeing the message briefly, it's probably better than not having the site load at all.
Come on guys, it shouldn't be that difficult. Knowing that the forum crashed last night and then a quick google of "Cloudflare" told the story of what's going on.
I closed my tab and came back to the site and it didn't show again.
For as long as I have been on this forum I have used the same connection, this morning that would not work. I just got the pictures but no forum information nor any way to connect to it.
I googled the forum and went into it though the C7 section, it opened no problem. I have now saved that method but it is not the same screen as I used to get.

I got that screen when I launched my browser (FireFox v.53.0 32-bit) this morning about 6:30 AM PDT and again just a few seconds ago when I started to reply to a thread in the C5 Gen section.
Like I explained a few posts, the message is considered "normal", at this time, because Cloudflare is adding a layer of protection to minimize service disruption due to any DDOS occurring.
Clearing cookies, temporary internet files, etc., is not going to change that behavior.

Just doing what was suggested, and basic due dilligence on my part.
Can you provide some specific examples?
Two posts in PRC. After hitting submit was taken to the cloudfare forwarding page....and it hung. Exited browser, came back....no post....had to retype and repost.
