To repeat:
The checking browser message and 5 second delay message is from Cloudflare and is legitimate. Cloudflare is providing DDOS protection for CorvetteForum. A party has initiated DDOS attacks on CorvetteForum. DDOS attacks are meant to disrupt accessibility. Without the protection from Cloudflare, the site might not be accessible at all.
Getting upset at, or faulting, CorvetteForum is misplaced because CorvetteForum is under a DDOS attack that is meant to disrupt the service and CorvetteForum has taken steps to try and keep the site accessible while the DDOS attacks continue.
While the 5 second browser check message delay might be inconvenient, and there is a few bugs associated with it (such as some submitted posts getting lost) the alternative is not being able to access CorvetteForum at all. Obviously, it's better to have the site accessible with some issues and some minor inconveniences rather than completely down for all.
