I've had the same problem as you guys for at least a few months now, and it makes threads like the Friday Funnies really difficult to post due to the high picture content . Nothing I tried has worked, and this is the only site I have this problem on. Win 10, Firefox browser.
Looks like this thread is dead. I don't have a problem on other forums, so I don't know how it could be on my computer, but it could be.
The account related issues are still pending as it is an issue at the developer level.
As I noted, your issue is different. Your account is not the issue. Yours is a software issue that is either related to Safari browser, in which case I suggested trying another browser to make sure, or it's possible your pictures are in Apple's new format and may not currently be comparable. Email a raw picture of what you've been trying to attach to forumsupport@corvetteforum.com marked to my attention and we will investigate. Otherwise, again, trying another browser and/or different photo can help eliminate which is the fault.
It is not an accurate comparison between different forums and websites. Sort of like an owner of a Ford saying they have no issues with their 5.0L to someone who has a GM 5.0L. Different "tech" involved beyond the surface.

Just sent an email with three photos from various dates prior to and after the beginning of the problem.
Your direction above on the Safari browser got me thinking about the upgrade to MAC OS Catalina and the possible affect of that change. From what I have read, Catalina is causing many problems with browsers (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) in addition to other process problems. I switched to MAC OS Catalina about the same time as the problem began.
Thank you for your tolerance of my computer ignorance. I am going to continue research of the Catalina connection and hope that will resolve the issue.
Maybe others with APPLE devices upgraded to Catalina that are having this issue can chime in.
JT, any update for me? I am still having the same problems. Thanks
The team is aware of the issue and it is being addressed. Unfortunately we don't have a specific time of when it will be fixed.
While it is not ideal and it is not a fix, as the root issue is being addressed and will be fixed, you should be able to create a new album and upload to that. Unfortunately, you can't link that to the Post attachment feature. So you'd have to use the Share feature from the album and copy/paste the URL of the picture within the post.

Thanks JT, that's what I've been doing. I posted some pictures of some pretty girls (tasteful) during a discussion of the rear end of the C8. I received requests for suggestions for the front end which I dutifully obliged with more pretty girls, which violated the standards, apparently. The two post were deleted but it took a week or two for the forum to not accept my subsequent pictures. This was not an algorithmic intervention but rather, moderator initiated. Also, it is not IP related but account related, because I can't post on my lap top either.
Moderator Steven Bell is a very decent person and have received information from him via administrator, savewave.
Quote: Shaka was one of the users whose albums we banned due to inappropriate content. We're still working on a fix to let uploads through even if the album is blocked, but in the meantime, if he goes into his gallery directly and creates a new album, he can upload photos into that one (and then insert them into his forum post via our post editor photo button's "My Albums" option) without any issue.
