Can anyone guide me a little here. For years i have not had any problems uploading pictures/images, then about a month ago i try to upload a picture and it loads 50% then says "ALERT". It won't fully upload a picture to my post. Any insight here? I am not the most technically savvy guy but jeez....
Thanks guys
ARA
I started getting this problem today - a pop-up titled ALERT with a blank box and only an OK button in the lower right of the box. I have not pressed OK as the last time I tried to get rid of the Flash Player problem I had to erase the hard drive and start fresh on this MAC.
93RubyRedCoupe - do you have a MAC or a WINDOWS machine?
J T - Any resolution yet?
Windows, but you got me thinking. I may try at home to load a picture. I only did/tried to post on my work computer. Possibly an update that my office runs periodically on our work computers changed a setting? Not sure. I am not that "techy".
I will try on my home computer and advise.

yup, won't allow an upload from computer either . Using EDGE and Chrome
Just tried to Reinstall the OS (Catalina) on my MACbook Air via OS Recovery. It took 5 hours to load a fresh copy of the OS.
Still getting the blank 'ALERT' popup. I had lost the ability to download PDFs and block cookies before I reinstalled the OS. I can now block cookies, but cannot upload pictures to this forum.
Going to try downloading a PDF and will report the results.
I guess it is 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' from he advertisers here on this forum.

Downloading PDFs and blocking cookies is not going to be a forum issue and is also not related to the issue posted here. Note that when you start blocking content (cookies, scripts, etc.,) you must accept that things may not function correctly. We cannot support software that alters the appearance and/or functionality of the website. Very few websites would.
You indicated you can upload with Google Chrome on Windows but not Safari on Mac. Your account also shows you've uploaded pictures to your album within the past few days. This tells us that the forum uploader is working. So the issue could be a compatibility issue with Safari (which could be either end) or it could be you have customized settings or software with the browser that prevents the uploader from working in Safari.
Note that there was more than one issue with Uploading. The tech team identified an issue that was related to specific accounts. Some members posting in this thread had that issue. Your issue is different and is not an account issue.

Thanks JT,
For clarification, the problem uploading pictures began on 11/13/19 and the problem with PDFs and History and Cookies came after 11/27/19. I may have changed some settings that cause the cookie and history problem during my frustration prior to reloading the OS. I am able to download PDFs and clear History and Cookies now that I reinstalled the OS on this Mac.
Still cannot download pics to the Corvette Forum, but have no problem on other sites. Could it be related to my specific account?

No, your issue is not an account related issue like a few other members previously experienced. Additionally, I can confirm you've uploaded some content within the past few days (assuming it was not using Safari on Mac) as your Album shows: https://www.corvetteforum.com/g/album/4664271/1/recent
You uploaded 2 pictures on 11/28/2019, 9 pictures on 11/27/19 and 3 on 11/20/2019
So your issue is specific to your browser. Again, either there is a compatibility issue with Safari or it could be you have customized settings or software that prevents the uploader from working in Safari while it works correctly in Chrome on Windows.
