I think this thread is a good idea, it lets us pay our respects to the Corvette Eternal.

I lost my daughter last 11/30, of which I posted and received a tidal wave of responses........most thank you to all!!!!
My question is, since CF now has this thread, is it possible to move my post here and how do I do that? I posted on 1/30/08 under the heading title "Please read". It would be nice to be able to move it to this thread and for other members to be able to read it as well.
Thank you and I hope it can be done.

My original thread was moved to "off topic" and it's still there. t would be nice if the entire thread could be moved so that those that weren't aware can follow and read as well.

The criminal case is just in the pre-trial stage and this also something that I would like to keep an update of.

There were a couple of members that were sincerely moved by this tragedy.

I hope someone or one of the moderators can assist me with my request.

I don't mean to be nosy, but does anyone know who Gavin was? I only ask because Gavin's brick is directly next to mine in the corvetteforum area at the museum, and I have always wondered about the memorial, which says so little but speaks volumes.

81cali, I read your thread... condolences

The establishment of this thread is not only a great idea but offers all an opportunity to show respect and share a commond bond, the love of the Corvette. Having said that, it is with regret that advertisements now are attached to the original post and/or responses. While I certainly understand the role of the ads and that they fund the forum, it would seem that there are enough other forum sections to accomplish that goal without placing them in this section. It seems to do so diminishes the intent of the thread and disrepects both the deceased and their friends and families. Just my opinion. Again thank you for having this section to recognize those who have passed.

My stepdad i have known my whole 37 years of my life passed away too in the last 2 months ago. We all carry are memmories of them at all times. He was my car buddy. We always watched speed channel together and loved PINKS ALL OUT, PASS TIME, and CAR WARRIORS. Those were are favorites but also watched all the others too. After 2 weeks i got back into doing and watching all the same things we watched together. Us areselves are also memmories too and things we loved so dont give up your dreams guys because i haven't. I just purchased some car parts from LG motorsports and am excited for spring to see the difference in my c6z06 being an extra 150hp more. We are hear because we are the same and are here for each other from one corvette guy to the next. Take care from Taylor known as tayman1975.

I just registered as a Corvette forum member, and I had no idea of the personal losses that we share. I feel as though I have entered into a new family and hope to continue my Brother's dream as a Vette owner. Thanks a million.
