Hi Buddy,
What's ailing your "Baby"? I hope it's nothing serious. Me and the "Plum" have been out a couple of times, between periods of bad weather, even made the local newspaper
Hope you're doing great!
Congrats on making the paper!!! I hear you are getting some pretty bad weather these days My poor baby is basically getting gutted. She was making a whistling noise around 60 then constant during slow down. Luckily it's covered under warranty so I took her to the dealership. Come to find out there is a small piece in the tranny that needs to be replaced but the whole rear has to come out. Fortunatley it gave me an excuse to get a new clutch. I figured if the warranty is covering the labor I might as well get a better clutch and have them put it in at the same time. Hopefully I'll have her back this week. I went to check on her on Saturday and drop off the clutch. It's actually been raining here lately so it's cool that she's in the shop staying out of the rain!
Hi Buddy,
Nice to hear from you. Weather here has been terrible for the past few days Supposed to be decent this weekend though - so far. Unlike your poor baby, me and the Plum are ready for anything You are making the right choices on making that warranty work to your advantage. You guys are extremely fortunate to have had it happen before the warranty expired Uhhhh, maybe you should get an older model that you can work on Just kidding - I just like the older stuff, 1982 on back in years. But, you know what? I have a "bastard year" 1973, modified to my tastes, worth less than $20K, and I wouldn't trade it for any other Corvette that I have seen on this Forum!! Is that LOVE or what? Say hi to Parrish, and take care of my Hommie Oh, by the way, we'll keep on adding pages to this post

I got my baby back today!!!!!!!!!!!!! To be honest I was so down that my baby was not in my possession that I didn't even want to get on the forum. But I'm now back in business! I actually just walked back inside from taking the top off for my ride home tonight! I can't wait to give her a good washing and waxing but for now I'm gonna enjoy this 90 plus weather we are supposed to have tomorrow!!!!
By the way, $4600 later (warranty paid 3600 I paid the rest) I have all new bearings, a complete trans re-build, new clutch and a normal working emergency brake!!!
Hiya Kiddo,
Glad you got your 'Baby' back and that you're okay

All right!!!! Three cruises!!!! I've only been to one so far. Hopefully I can get to more here in the near future. This week has been miserable so far! high 90's all week. I plan on waxing my baby up one of these evenings after work to get her ready for cruising this weekend. It will be our first weekend since having her back that we don't have something to do! She's just got to come out!
Hi Buddy,
This engine compartment is what I've been working on the past few days. I'm going lookin for a trophy on Saturday & Sunday - wish me luck!
I'm glad you got your "Baby" back on the road - keep it between the ditches
Take care of my 'Homie'!

It's looking good. Of course I wish you many blessings on getting a trophy. There is no doubt in my mind that you will get it. Be sure to let me know how it goes and take pics . When I get off tonight I'm getting my baby all cleaned up for our Vette meet on Saturday. Can't Wait!!!!!
Hi Kelly Buddy,
Yeah, I got one, but I did two shows, so that's only a 50% win I'll survive, so will Plum....we're not done yet!
I hope you had a great weekend!
You take care of my cute little "Homie"!

Soooooo sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Congrats on the trophy. At least one is better than none! What class and place did you get the trophy for???? Any shows planned for the weekend??? We will be attending the West Coast Corvette Challenges here in Vegas on Sat. Haven't decided yet if I'll race or not but I'm definately excited to just go.
