I just purchased a "new to me" GM Certified Pre-Owned" 2007 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6, black/black pretty well loaded out which was a one owner car that was very well taken care of.
I have wanted a Corvette since I was a teenager and now I have one.
I am looking to get advice and help from all the experts here. This looks like a great website with alot of experience and knowledge on these cars.
Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your C6 Z!! If this is your first Vette and you don't have previous experience with high performance cars, be careful. That car is a beast that will surprise and get away from you if you aren't ready for it. Enjoy the car and the Forums.
I am looking forward to reading and learning from all of you here. Rick T., you are right about this car "being a beast and being able to get away from me!" It is not the first performance car I have owned but I would say that it definitely has the most power!
I also own and race a 1996 Dodge Cummins Diesel Pickup which is fully built with twin turbos and all the "bells and whistles". Here is a couple of links for you guys to look at of my truck. While not a Vettte, it has been alot of fun to own.
These videos are of me racing at our local drag strip:
John, I had wanted to own a Corvette since I was fifteen . Some fifty years later, the time was right, and now I can't get enought of it. I'm having a lot of fun driving it,as my family can atest, hope the same for you. Good luck.

Glad to hear I am not the only one that had to wait over fifty (50) years to get my first Corvette! I was reading some statistics on Corvette Owners at my Chevy Dealership and they showed that the average age of a Corvette Owner is now fifty-five (55) years old!!
Like you, I am having a BLAST driving ours! I really love this car as I knew I would. Thanks again for posting to me here Sir!
