Hey guys!
Hi there! I'm new to the world of vettes and LS engines. I am looking to buy an 07 LS7 engine in England, but I have no history of it and the seller claims it was his uncles that he bought for a project. Therefore he cant really answer some of my questions about the history of the car..I was hoping someone could provide me with some info about this car/engine by the VIN number he provided me: 1G1YY26E675108011
If this is against forum rules, I apologize and you may disregard this thread. I just want to make sure the engine in fact only has 470 miles on it as he states..since I live in Sweden I can't really go look at it personally.

Kind of an unusual request but.....let's see......you can buy one Carfax report on that VIN to see what it offers........you could get a GM VIS report to see what GM's records show.
To get a GM VIS report send an email with that VIN to one of these vendors, be sure to tell them exactly what you are doing just so they know up front.

Wow, thanks Rick! Yeah I just don't wanna be ripped off if I fly to england only to find out the ad for the engine was a fake. Just seems strange that he has a brand spanking new engine with only so little miles. Sure, people get into wrecks and wrap em around a tree, but still. I am going to shoot an email to the fichtner address and see what comes back.
