That's flying pretty fast! What did the Infinity have for an engine? I hear ya about being young and invincible...When I was in my early 20's I had a 70 1/2 Camaro, with a freshly rebuilt Z28 302 engine that I and my buddy rebuilt. The Speedo read 150 mph and I had it well past that, we figured 160+ mph. It held the country road very well for not having any spoiler or ground effects. Yeah that's the bad part about going fast or racing a course is the wear and tear on tires etc...

Early on not sure I even knew what the word Aero meant let alone think about it while driving fast.
The key to going fast and surviving is tires tires tires... Oh and big brakes to bail your dumb *** out.

Was a 4.5L V8 that supposedly made around 280 hp... flooded it out and dealer in Texas rebuilt it... Sadly was never the same again.
