I'm down for a test run,

anytime, anywhere,

Even my camera made it out alive from this last one,

Let me know,

Have a good one,

Grant

P.S. I'm still crazy, no matter what anyone told you

Three weeks is a long long time, especially for us new owners

I'm thinking of a partial reconnaissance run. Morrison to Fairplay, then instead of south I will go north to Breckenridge, Frisco.. That will leave the rest of the Aussie Run a surprise for me. Just a little 168 mile drive.

At this point I have no idea what day I am going, but I am going.. Anyone else itching for a drive is welcome to join me...

Jbridgett and EOS 05, if you guys don't mind me tagging along on your test run and depending on when you go, I might be able to join you. Just let me know.

It sounds like the 27th may be too far away. Should the date be the 13th or the 20th?

Both dates are clear for the Governor and I.

Buy the way the road from 285 at Pine thru Deckers and on to Woodland park is paved all the way. I just drove it in my Z16 a few weeks ago.

To Confirm - Instead of taking 24 all the way to Colorado Springs, we could take 67 North, through Deckers, Buffalo Creek and Pine back to 285. Is that correct? If that is the case we will do that instead.

1. Date changed to Saturday 09/13/08

I’m sorry Straatien; I thought you were avoiding Deckers on the way down to Woodland Park.
I was thinking 285 west to Pine, Pine south to Woodland Park thru Deckers.
Then east at Woodland Park on 24 to Antero Junction, then turn south on 285 thru Fairplay back to Denver.
Basically the shape of Australia.
I’m not trying to change everything around I just thought you were avoiding Deckers because you thought it was a dirt road.
Whatever route you decide is OK with me.

Fellow Drivers,

My apologies for the late notice but I just realized that I already have a commitment on 09/13/08. Consequently, we will either need to change the event date to Saturday 09/20/08 OR I will have to step aside and let another coordinate this run.

Thoughts?

Given the conflicting schedules and in the interests of "the more, the merrier" how about we return to the original date of 09/27/08 and those of you with an itchy gas pedal can plan an earlier run?

How about it?
