Hi from Salem, Oregon. Husband and I are planning trip to Yellowstone and Grand Canyon after Labor Day. Only have one week and the weekends before and after. We will be driving husbands custom C6.( I have 02 Z06) Probably coming thru Boise and Salt Lake City. Never been to Yellowstone or Grand Canyon. Went on the Bowling Green trip in 09 & took northern trip back-GREAT TRIP!.
Would like any suggestions to maximize the trip. Hotel,eateries,best places to see, and of course the most "Vette friendly roads and hotels.

Nice road trip for a late model Vette! Spectacular country and many great driving roads can be found in southern Utah, especially east of I-15. You're smart to be going after Labor Day when there aren't so many trailers and Winnebagos clogging the two-laners.
