Ya...I was just starting to think the same thing...instead of driving my Vette to the gym I can bicycle down their and bike my way back home getting my cario workout in without ever stepping foot in the gym....
Seriously, I haven't been home for 2 weekends and really have lost control of my yard. You've seen the magnitude. Don't think I can make it. I will make the final call on Saturday night.
Also there is a Corvette challenge at E-town Saturday Too many things to do and not enough time!!!!!!!
I wouldn't worry about the price per gallon, what I'd be worrying about is getting gas at all. How long before we run out. They only got one refinery going now. We have a 6 month supply of oil, but no way to refine it.
No matter what gas cost, we're still going to buy it. Selling your trucks isn't going to help, you will just take a bath in the loss. Cheaper to keep any cars you have, just don't drive as often.
As for me, I'm still planning cruises and stuff, if I'm by myself, oh well, I'll be the one having fun.
I put in 8 gallons @$3.45 a gal 93 sunoco. I figured that'll get me comfortably in N.J. and I'll top it or fill it on the way back tomorrow.
Should have filled it some stations don't have gas here and i have seen stations here that are over $4 a gallon with a line of cars wating for it. It should ease up after the weekend i hope.
WAwa was up to 3.50 for 93 and there was nobody getting gas--they were all waiting in line at the Exxon on 9 in Lacy where (as of this afternood) 93 was still under 3.00

The crippled refineries account for only 10% of the gas production in the south. The big problem is major oil companies have decided to cut production at several west indies refineries. The motive here is less gas and higher prices. Due to the fact we have Bush and Cheney in the white house and they are very big oil men I would highly doubt you will see anyone getting anything more then a slap on the wrist for this form of theft. It will get a lot worse before it gets better.
Filled up the beater at Chevron for 3.19 and felt like I was getting a deal (still cost $70). Gas costs so much in UK, Europe, and Canada due to taxes and the socialized medicine system in those countries. Speaking only for myself as a self employed person with no employees (therefore inelegible for "group" insurance) I wouldn't mind paying $6 a gal. if I could go to the Dr. for free. Paying it all to Exxon is BS 'cause they won't fix my teeth.
