How's everyone doing now that it looks like the gas prices is going to jump quite a bit in the next few days, weeks, and months ahead.
Tonight was the first time I actually saw lines by the pumps, some gas stations had premium at $3.27 while others were $2.95 now that kind of blows BIG time.
I just wanted to get some feed back from everyone else and what you all think of this current situation.
I really want to stay fucused on making lemonaid out of lemons and stay up beat and positive about all this....
hey John, gas prices suck. I run two service vans, its going to cost me about $450.00 a week. I have to raise my rates to keep up. I guess all transportation costs are going up, meaning more for food, clothing(just in time for back to school shopping) and every other product that is shipped in.
PS.. thanks for the clutch info
It sucks big time, but when indexed with inflation it is still not at recorded highs (Yet!). Also cars get better MPG then they did 20 years ago during the last big spike. Also ever see the gas prices in Europe.
Every time I begin to get bummed out about fuel prices, I stop and think about my inlaws in the UK....When I was there in June, they were paying between between 4-5 British Pounds per gallon! In American dollars this is roughly $9.00 plus per gallon!!! I went to fill my mother-in-law's tiny 4 cyl. hatchback and spent about $55.-$60.!!!! OUCH!!!! Remember that even now at the worst of times we still have it pretty good
Cheers - DD
Just got gas on Rt 37 Toms River Super Wawa. 2.75 reg.
Down the road the gas was 2.59. Seen it from 2.59-3.09 Tonight
for reg. I am driving 525 miles early Friday morning. I get great
gas mileage...but is still going to suck filling up. I get about 30-35 miles per gallon.

I can't F'n believe how the Middle East has created this ficticous Supply and Demand scenario which has more than doubled the price of a barrel of crude in a year or so. Then, no more than 2 days after Katrina, Gas prices rise upwards of $.50 a gallon
What kind of Bull $hit is that? And what is being done to remedy the situation??
Absolutely nothing
Prepare for the worse. Sorry for the rant, but I drive 86 miles round trip a day to work
