Where And How Do I Sign Up...i Have Never Done A Corvette Track Day???? Im Interested In Doing One At Lime Rock In 2007
Come with us to WGI. If it is your first you will love that track. Ask Ike and Alex how much they loved that track. Alex even had a day at Pocono and thought WGI was a big step above.
I will get everyone the information on running with SCDA once they have completed their 07 line up.
We are also doing limerock in april with PDA. Just google PDA driving and you will find information about that.
for more information on Confirmed ecsracing dates go to WWW.ecsracing.com . The advantage of going when we are at the track is that you will have people that know the vette inside and out.
Watkins Glen It Like 6 Or 7 Hrs Away From Me. Thats To Far. Does Anyone Use Street Tires For These Events Or Just Auot X Tires?
it is 5+ hours for most of us, but well worth it. For your first few events I highly recommend stock everything except brake fluid. I would flush your brake fluid with ATE Racing Blue or even Valvoline Synpower Dot3/4. Fresh brake fluid is very important. You will also need to check your brake pads to make sure you have enough life on them. If they are worn down then replace with hawk HPS or OEM Zo6 pads both are good for track and street use.
As a note if you are running ceramic pads then you will want to change them no matter how much meat is on them.

If you're gonna start doing alot of events, you can sign up to be a member of the PDA driving school or SCDA to get a discount. I don't have the SCDA website but here's the PDA Driving school website:
Furthermore, like Wicked Weasel said, sign up to http://www.ecsracing.com once the race season begins, there will be lots of info there on hotels, events, techniques, equipment, mechanical issues etc., best of all, the forum is free.
