If you like The Glen, you will love VIR. The July 3-4 event is put on by Chin Motorsports (www.chinmotorsports.com). I've gone the past two years and it is a blast. Chin also gives you more track time than any organization I've run with--and I've run with 6 different clubs.
If you go, stay at The Lodge. It's right at the track and is a first class place to stay, right down to whirlpool tubs and flat screen TVs. And you can see a good bit of the track from you balcony.
Unfortunately, it looks like Thunderbolt--the New Jersey twin of VIR--isn't going to be offering any track days to PDA, Chin, SCDA or anybody else this year.

that is the one I was telling people about. I was hoping they would run Monday July 2nd and Tuesday July 3rd though. That way we could drive down on Sunday and Drive home on Wednesday.just checked it out it will be the 4th and 5th which stinks because it is the middle of the week.,
