Ralph, I feel your grief. It’s not easy.

My mom passed away a few weeks ago, on December 1st, after only 3 horrible weeks of illness. Mom was 93; she died in the hospital bed with 6 of her 8 children beside her. She left 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She had a wonderful life.

Your sister was too young to be taken away, life isn't always fair.

I never cried before my mother took ill. I thought that men who cry are weaklings or fakers. I don't think that way anymore, because I fell apart, and I'm still not over it.

Time will heal, but your good memories of your sister will never fade away.

A few years ago, I was at a Fourth of July car show in Livingston. A guy came up to me, and started talking about vettes, and told me about this web site, "the Corvetteforum". I decided to check it out. Little did I know what I was in for. Thanks Ike. Yeah it's all his fault for getting me in with all those wackos.
To think that all these people would want to share their thoughts, and feelings with me, is pretty special. It is so true, that there is a bond here between the members, that stretches far beyond our love of some oddball car. People we would ordinarily never have met, in day to day life, have become part of a community.Wow.
For everyone that I have met, for those I will meet at some time, and for those of you that have shared some part of this crazy existence, I am thankful. I will be in California with my family soon. I just wish everyone here a joyful holiday season, and the best of years to come. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. Peace be with you.

Ralph my prayers are with you and your family. I just lost my dad to Pulmonary Fibrosis in September. Yes it is a horrible disease but just know that she is in peace now and there is no more suffering. She lead a wonderful fulfilling life.

May God be with you and your family at this time.
