Billy, I'm glad you're doing better!
When I heard on Saturday, I was speechless! It's amazing that the EMTs responded so quickly. I really wanted to visit you yesterday, but didn't get a chance to do so. I hope to catch up with you soon.
On a lighter note -- Bob6spd was literally nearby when the ambulance/fire truck came for you. I spoke to him and he said that there is no point in him trying to get in shape, since you're in perfect health and had this setback. He said he'll continue his current lifestyle!
Linda, if you need anything at all, please let me know. I will do my best to assist!

WE ARE SOOO RELIEVED that you are ok.. I mean sheesh.. Chris was beginning to think that what caused this was you having second thoughts about the tickets
In any case.. Please let us know if there is anything at all that you need. Remember.. he is off for a few weeks now so if you need help around the house or want him to build something or carry something or just come over and watch the game with you dont hesitate to call.
Again, thank god you are ok and glad to hear that you are doing somewhat better

We never eat junk food - in fact, burger that he had at lunch on Sat was the 1st one he has had in 3 months. Most everything in low fat, low salt, low cholestoral. He had blood work done 2 weeks ago and everything was normal!
He doesn't smoke and drinks very little alcohol & coffee and is very active, so a clogged artery was low on the list of possibilties.
When this happened he was going to kidney specialist since a problem with the kidneys can cause high BP - he is supposed to go for a bunch of tests on Thrusday - guess I can cancel that.
When I spoke to the cardiologist and asked him why this happened he said that family history plays a big part - heart disease runs in both side of his family, so that artery was "misformed" and clogged easier than it should have - all the others are 100% clear.
Take care of yourselves out there -
You know I just went back after I made sure I posted first.. and read all this. Chrissie brings up a good point as do you that alot of this is hereditary and should not be ignored!!!
I myself am going to see a cardiologist that TWO members (who I dont want to out ) on this very forum use... because apparently when I was in for a physical last week they noticed something called a "Long QT" wave when the Dr. decided to do a precautionary EKG. Scary stuff... but again.. the more we all know, and the more we all pay attention the healthier we will be!!!
Soeedy recoveries to Chrissie and Billy and heres to hoping that the rest of us are ok too

Hey Shermon ..... We will be by as soon as we can to stock up on red wine -
We are hoping that he will be coming home tomorrow
Alex came by and spent most of the after noon & some of his photographer friends came by - all we needed were some balloons, wine and cheese (low fat of course) and we would have had some party!

Glad to hear that he'll be home. I can recommend some good reds. Or maybe he should start drinking the absinthe -- all the crazy artists types drink that stuff.
