I think he was calling me old. I brought a camera and will post some pics later.

It was great to see all. Nice ride down to AC and back. Took a short ride over to the Barnegat light house with the wife. Had to walk to the top too.

Great day!!

Hey Bob. Glad you joined us for the ride. Would have been nice if there had been more cars driving down. We didn't see any other Vettes on the road til we got to AC. Considering it was a first year show, I think it was quite good .

Sorry Dean that I didn't get to talk with you longer. We had last minute dinner reservations at Angelo's.

Angelo's - THE best Italian in New Jersey. We make it a point to have dinner there everytime we're down. Ate there Saturday night too.

Was the show worth it?

Well, as I was prepping my car over a 3-day span, all I did was curse and swear that I was NEVER doing another show again. But when I got there on Friday and saw what this show was going to be, I began to believe.

After Saturday and Sunday, with all the amazing Corvettes that were in attendance, and all the fantastic people I got to meet and talk to, when it was all said and done, was it worth it? HELL YES!!!

I will definitely be a part of the show again next year, and look forward to seeing all the new friends I made.

Thanks Rob! I was damn proud to represent DSCC, and will again next year....with some of you with me, I hope! **hint, hint**

And Marc, no worries mate, I saw everybody leaving you bro, lol. I was just glad to see everybody!

Sounds like you parked in the wrong lot..

There was plenty of $10 parking within 2 blocks of the center.

I think everyone is being too generous or it has been too long since they been to a show (long winter ). There was a few different rides that were from out of the area, but for the most part there were the same old cars that we wee see often in the Delaware valley area shows. As for the vendors, There was some neat vendors if you had a C5-6 and you wanted chome and carbon bolt ons. The 20ish vynil siding saleman was a real pain in the a**. The Philadelphia Inquirer?? Come on... Not to mention it was pretty steep $$ for what you got. It was nice to be inside for a change but just like AC it is all about get the $$ out of your pocket. Sorry to be a downer but if it was not for the "motion" vette and some of the other C2 &3 customs/racers it would have been a big waste.

I think you may have missed that some of us said "for a first year show it was good". In order for it's success to continue, it must get bigger and better, without raising the prices to ridicules levels. Maybe adding an auction, certainly more vendors, and a larger cars for sale section, would be steps in the right direction.

I thought the show was pretty good. Hung out at the ECS space - they did a nice job on their presentation. Though I will continue to give Chris and Mike some grief on the video. The video spot they had was really cool outside of the "Resevior Dogs"-esqe shot of the them walking towards the shop with the dramatic music (beginning of "Oh Fortuna: I think) that came off as the beginning of a boy-band concert (or what I would imagine a boy-band concert to look like....nice save there on my part).

We grabbed lunch and beers at the nearby Tun Tavern and as such got our parking validated.

I was there Sunday Morning and thought the show was very good for a first, I was sorry I could not get it together to put my car in but maybe next year. The Venders that were there were very good.
Glenn your car is looking good, sorry I missed you great pictures.
