I was at the car show this morning. It was a lot of fun and the display of every year Corvette was pretty amazing. There's were lots of other cars on display also. However, if your going there looking to buy, there
really wasn't as many for sale as I would have thought there would have been.
There was an unbelievable '58 for sale that anyone would die for, but the asking price was way above $100K and that knocks me out of contention.

What a great day to cruise down to AC with the top off.
There are some really beautiful cars there.Saw lots of good friends there too. And if you have mod. sickness like I do, it's like being a kid in a candy store. Some really great forum vendors there. I spend quite a few bucks today.
Good show. Got there around 2pm...the crowd was a little thinner than I expected, but lots of great vettes. Loved the vintage cars and of course the ZR1. And that black C6 with 700+ hp on display at the ECS booth wasn't too shabby either. Nice guys btw...my buddy and I had a good chat with one of the guys there.
is it worth going? is it like carslile but where rednecks must wear shoes & a shirt to get it? thinking of going down there tomorrow. Anyone from NYC going down there in the morning?
Today was a lot of fun! For a first time show, the organizers did a great job. I have no doubt the show will continue to get better each year - the auction should be a nice addition.
More importantly (to me anyway) it was so great to see all my friends - what fun you all are. It's hard for me to believe I've only known many of you for only a year or even less - it seems like forever (and I mean that in a good way!) Hanging at the booth with Jan, John and Robbie (Rob, I promise I'll never say it again) was a blast. Who know I could sell microfiber??? I'll add that to my resume
You're a wonderful group of people and I'm proud to call you my friends!
(Marc - thanks for walking me to my car and for the tire advice!)
Iwent to the AC.show yesterday ,there were some nice cars there but i was really disapointed that the number of vendors there was really not what i expected. The cost of the show and parking was a bit steep $52.00

Nice to meet you. The show was very well put together, and so were some of the women strolling around. A good mix of something old, something new, customized and muscle too. I met up with five other cars from L.I. at 6:45 am for the trip to the convention center and didn't leave until after 5:00 pm. Good to see my "old" and younger friends. Great way to start the season that is all
Roger and I went and saw a lot of nice, interesting cars on display. The vendors were putting on a good showing. Stopped by the ECS booth and hung out awhile, but if you didn't see the red C4 with NY plates/ superman emblem/front and rear wings/ferrari testerosta exteriordoor panels/side pipes/through the hood blower with hurst equipped emblems/the word corvette 12times on the car/chevy emblems on the turn signals/turn signal indicators in the side view mirrors/anti-slip rubber on the roof panel/pillar gauges on the driver and passanger side pillars/ ford gt style aircraft grade switch on the dash for the antenna/stingray style rear window with corvette sticker and black louver/solid red rims with knockoff style center caps/14" speakers covered in a wild red grille behind the seats/rear hatch conversion/and the club steering wheel lock, in the outdoor hotel parking lot, you missed the best car of the entire event. A lot of love, sweat, was put into this car. It brought tears to my eyes.
