How about we schedule the ride for Sunday, October 11th.
Also have a back-up date of Sunday October 18th if Mystic gets pushed out or we need a rain date. Keep both Sunday's open.
If you don't mind, I am working up a scenic route with a great eat spot.

Here is an update to the dates. Anyone saying "any date" or not choosing a date was not included.

I like bullmarket's plans and his (usual) choices for grub, but we cannot make 10/11, (we will be away in DE).

If the group plans that, so be it. Their will be other events.

Trying to summarize everyone's choice on the Foliage Run only.

Any others interested, post and I will tabulate, (if you didn't specify a date in prior posts, I did not include you).

Sat 10/3: jmbbluevette

Sun 10/4: Mystic

Sat 10/10:

Sun 10/11: Mystic rain date, bullmarket

Sat 10/17: 08corvette, c6vettewife08, see3er, basicstrategy777

Sun 10/18: jeffjob, 08corvette, c6vettewife08, see3er, subfixer, basicstrategy777, bullmarket

Sat 10/24:

Sun 10/25: subfixer,

People are more important than leaves.

If most can do the 18th, do the 18th.

Not to muddy the waters, but the ride to Bennington is awesome. We took part of Route 7 on the way home from the show last weekend and it was a nice ride. We could meet up, drive out 44 to 7 head up to Bennington. There are a lot of shops for those that want to shop, and if I remember correctly, Craig and I ate at an old train station when we were there.

We're good for any weekend but the first two in October. The sooner we know which it is, the better for us because something always tends to come up and we really want to get in a couple more rides before the ww...win.....can't say it. The summer has gone by much too quickly!

Lookin' like Sunday, October 18th fits in the most peeps.
Let's lock this in as the date.

I have a scenic, country road route planned; starting with breakfast at Ike's in Enfield, CT (or just meet up there). Leave at 8:00, heading north. I have two scenic stops with beautiful views ($2 park fees) and two shopping spots for the ladies with an awesome BBQ spot for lunch at around 1:30.

It's about 100 miles total for the ride plus your cruise home; so probably 125-150 miles max.

You may even make it home in time to watch the Patriot's play the Titan's; or whoever else you may watch.

Lead, follow or get out of the way. Sign up below for a nice fall cruise.

Even though we are close, the early hour may keep us from making breakfast. Any thoughts about eating at 8 and leave at 9 ?
