Prayers sent, when are you guys having the procedure done? Wish I could help you guys out but I only have coverage for 7 hrs for my mom on my days off then the care keepers leave and I'm with her.

Although this is somewhat alarming news, it's good news just the same. It appears that you and Mike have a great plan and a great support team for your medical procedures and recoveries. I well remember the scare we all experienced when Mike did a turn for the worse back in '08 and celebrated his rebound from that experience over one of the Crab Runs. Hopefully we all will see you both on an outing in the near future to hear the newer story of this Mike & Holly kidney mod and you both can show us your new scars (you two should really think about getting matching kidney tattoos after the healing process) we should make it a CFNE run.
God bless you both. This experience will give you two a bond that most of us will probably not be given the opportunity to exhibit to our spouses in a whole lifetime of marriage. We all thought the best of you in the past Holly, but now that feeling is way bigger than we ever could place into words or thoughts. Looking forward more this year than any before to see you and Mike in the Annie again.
Holly, I'll be sure to keep you folks in prayer for both surgery and recovery.
Keep us posted and it sounds like you're already in capable hands.
Scott
Mike and I would like to thank you all for all your kind words of encouragement and especially for your prayers. It is extremely comforting to know that we have such a great group of friends that we can rely on in this time of need. We are extremely lucky to have access to an exceptional transplant team at NY Presbyterian as well. Please keep us in your prayers, and we will continue to update you on Mike’s progress.

Keep us posted on dates along with anything else we can do for youse Holly. I do hope You and Mike will be able to join in on the upcoming Crab Run (I really did think the tattoo thing would be kool, LOL). Remember our contact offer. More than a few prayers sent for you and Mike.
Once again Mike and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and offers of help.
Mike had the last procedure today and he has passed this final hurdle. The transplant surgery has been scheduled for next Thursday, 01 April. I will be in the hospital for 3 - 4 days and Mike will be staying for 7 - 10 days.
So please keep those prayers coming. We will have internet access in the hospital so we will update everyone after the surgery.
Good news, we will kep you two in our prayers April 1st you say? When Mike wakes up you should have the hospital staff tell him that the castration went well ... then say April Fools!
Once again Mike and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and offers of help.
