Mike here-

Thanks to everyone that kept us in their prayers and thoughts. Holly went home this afternoon and is probably sound asleep by now.

Both of our surgeries went extremely well. I have absolutely no pain and am totally mobile. Still need another day of anti rejection drugs via IV but will probably be going home on Monday.

Once again, thank you all and a special thanks to the love of my life for sacrificing her well being to save mine.

Wonderful news Mike! So glad to hear you're both doing well. It sounds like we'll all be seeing you and Holly this June for a nice Corvette ride and a meal @ The Old Mill Crab House. I'm sure you two will have a story or two to tell us while we're waiting for the Old Mill to open. God bless the both of you as you recover and again enjoy good health. Holly? You are an inspiration to us all, and one of the best "givers" I've known. Mike? You are a strong man to endure the hardships that you've faced, and have one of the best relationship partners I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Keep us all informed of your progress.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to update you to the news that we went and picked up Mike yesterday from the Hospital so he is home now. Yesterday was exhausting for both of us. But we are feeling better today and the true recuperation is starting.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.

Wonderful news Holly! You're on your way back now, and here's some more prayers for the triple digit speed of recovery. I'm sure it won't be too long before this life event is behind Ya'll.

Ps. If youse need anything on the weekend, I could arrange delivery with about 100+ Corvettes in tow . (just kiddin', I know your stamina isn't the very best at this time).
