I agree on the interior. Its the most comfortable, supportive seat I've ever sat in. My Magnum had tiny side bolsters and was made for a very large individual. I would slide back and forth across the seats during hard cornering. Not with the GTO, though, and the seats have firm padding like in my wife's BMW.

I just bought a 06' Cyclone Gray GTO last night with the 18 inch wheels. It will go along with my Procharged C6.

If you can believe it, i have had a 04' Black GTO (sold), 05' Impulse Blue GTO sold, and now back to an 06'. These cars are awesome, just took me some time to realize it after buying other cars besides the C6.

GTO=20 hwy mpg. BLEH!!!!! thats horrible!!! Compared to the Vettes near 30. I use my Vette as a daily driver. Go about 40 miles a day never a problem!

I currently average 21-22 in my cammed/full exhaust with 3.91's '04 GTO. I was getting 23-24 before I put in the 3.91's.

I never got more than 27 in my '99 Corvette.

Regardless.....I don't know why gas mileage would be a big concern with either of these cars.....they're not exactly marketed as a Prius you know.

Default Former C5 Owner and Current GTO Owner

I used my 2000 C5 as my daily driver and loved it. I currently drive a 2005 GTO as my daily driver and like it very much. The interior is like night and day compared to the C5, the GTO is so much more comfortable and better looking!
I have to say the sound of the just the stock exhaust on the GTO is worth the price of admission! Just wish they could get the Vette to sound like that! I would recommend the GTO to anyone, its a fun car! The sound and the interior are my favorite features.
