Sadly for Ferarri,

Their FXX failed to beat the incomparable Caparo. The final time score?

FXX: 1:10.7
Caparo: 1:10.6

And at 1/4 the price, Caparo rules Top Gear.

IMHO that was just another joke in this hilarious show -
just listen to the interview and watch the part with the "reasonably priced car" - plus looking at older episodes I´m quite sure the original stig is larger than MS!

Both cars are so mental. Hats off to Ferrari for making what was essentially an Enzo that insanely fast, even if it's not street-legal. Have to wonder what kind of car they could build, if they wanted to build a counterpart to the Caparo. Which probably embodies more of the F1 spirit than anything Ferrari has built for the road.

BTW, have heard rumors that TG have run the ZR1 around their course for an upcoming episode...

Havent seen them run it around their course but I saw the episode where they took the ZR1, '09 CTSV, and the SRT8 Challenger out to the salt flats. All they could do was bash it in the beggining and by the end of the show they loved the cars.
