I know its subjective when judging what is 'off topic' but still worthy of inclusion. But I think you made the right decision on this one. From his related thread, the OP is a long time Corvette owner, and is reluctantly giving up his current Corvette for something more family friendly. It happens to a lot of guys. And while I'm not in that situation, as a car enthusiast, I can still appreciate the conversation of potential replacement vehicles. And I expect that we'll see brooklyn back on the forum in a few years, just in time to pick up a C8 or the ME car.
Most active forum members generally stay within one section of the forum, and they get to know each other. It's the neighborhood they become accustomed to and comfortable in. Naturally, they want to share things with the neighbors they know.
When things get moved to another neighborhood, the strangers there just generally aren't interested, and threads die. I don't think I've ever visited the "Other Cars" section of this forum and avoid OT like the plague, but I would have enjoyed following Brooklyn's experiences with his new ride in the C7 General area along with his other friendly neighbors.
Very nice! Don't know why, but I actually prefer the Charger to the Challenger. I was looking at them a while back as well, but decided to get something "lighter" lol. I actually got away from vettes for a while, but during that time I had 2 CTS-V's and having those reminded me how much more power heavy cars really need to go fast. Anyway, enjoy man. You made the right choice.

Thanks man. General I feel is where any decent thread will get the most traction. Don't know why this thread had to be moved... Can't imagine who it was hurting.. still kinda c7 related as I'm giving up my c7 and still having a little trouble letting go but whatever. Anyway I'll always be on this forum as I enjoy the Corvette discussion no matter which car I own.

Actually trolling would be coming into a Corvette forum and telling them you can out run them with your hellcat, just sayin.
I've seen enough other threads here that are more related to this forum get moved to off topic than this, it was a legit question.
Bullshit...It was trolling unless you're the hall monitor. If you were as interested in "why" as you were in oh say, "look at me trolling" you would have PM,ed him.
OP enjoy the Hellcat...the white is awesome too..With your new arrival growing up in that car his first stroller will need a HEMI.

Actually I agree with you Foosh. I added this reply before I noticed that it had been moved (like you I have never visited the "Other Cars" section) and was voting in favor of leaving it in place.

Congrats on the Charger. I know how you must feel giving up the Corvette? I have owned Corvettes since 1976 and only two times I traded for something else. In 2006 I traded my 2004 Corvette in on a 2004 Cadillac XLR. I loved the look of the XLR but couldn't take the car being broke down. In 26,000 miles the car never went more than 3,000 miles without something going wrong. I traded it on a used 2007 Corvette.
