Just left a deposit on my next car a 2016 dodge charger hellcat. This wasn't an easy decision for me... Leaving the Corvette behind when I go pick up the car is going to hurt... Knowing that this will be my last Corvette for the foreseeable future kinda sucks. As stated I've had 3 corvettes over 13 years and just love them. Times change, life changes, and it's just time to move on. I'm sure I'm going to love my hellcat it's an absolute beast and hands down the best bang for the buck on the used car market, but I'll always be a Corvette/Chevy guy no matter what. I'm sure I'll still be spending a lot of time on this forum as well. Here's a couple of shots of my next car... what do you guys think?

Love it! A 4 door grocery getter that can outrun a C7 Corvette! Enjoy!!
Good luck man, congrats on your purchase and shift in priorities !! While you won't be outrunning Corvette's (ZOh6) ... You can still look good and get a few good 'kills'
This is posted in the c7 section because I put it there. When did you become a moderator exactly? ...
As a moderator, I can say that we sometimes leave an "Off Topic" thread like this because it helps build camaraderie and let's us say farewell to those leaving (perhaps temporarily) the Corvette fold.
Hey brooklyn, first of all, congrats on your new little one!! I remember when we started having kids one of the vehicles had to go to make room for a more 'kid friendly' vehicle, so I sold my '69 SS396 and got a van! Talk about a downer from a vehicle perspective. But I've never regretted trading a car for something more family friendly, and have had lots of fun cars since.
You've got a great new car and I hope you enjoy it and, most of all, your growing family. Stay safe. You'll be back.
So what was the deal? If I have some money again in the near future I'm thinking I want a new daily driver. Keeping the C7 though. I really dig the ATS-V (if the lease deal is right) but this car is really cool too. MPG is 16/22 correct? Not terrible. Probably similar to the 04 GTO I DD right now. GTO sticker said 28 highway, but the highway has to be slightly down hill for 28 MPG.
I bet the charger is a blast-also is a very stealth machine regarding its capabilities-kind of like the old 60s chevy stripped Biscainne which came in a 409 I believe.
