Does anyone have a Devilbiss CT-30 Dryer? If so, my question is can you use regenerate the Dissicent inside by drying it out in the oven? I think the replacement is 80 bucks or so.

We use the CT-30 as our first line of defense, Unless you paint every day you will not be replacing the desiccants much. We change ours ebery month religiously!

Drying it out in the oven will not work, once the desiccant is spent it will not absorb anymore. That said there are many painter who will do this but I would never have anything painted there.

A cool, dirt/oil free and dry air supply to your gun is the #1 most important thing in painting! You can have the best booth and painter in the world, if your air supply is dirty the job comes out like hell.
