I can say...that if you go and get paint for this.....hopefully the paint shopahas a 'variant deck' where this color has painted out color chips showing the variants that meet the criteria to make it on a paint chip.
Simply going and buying the PRIME or #1 formula may not work....and it does not matter even it is a brand new Corvette that just rolled off the line. 'Paint variants' happen at the factory throughout the entire model year. There is no way that each and every batch of color is perfectly matched to each previous color batch....especially when some of these colors have 5-8 toners in them to make up the color. Expecting that each and every batch is perfect....from one facotry to the next...or when the color is shot in series months apart at the same factory is foolish. Metallic, pearl colors and any tri-stage can be greatly effected. And it can also happen to solid colors.
This is when the color will need to be tinted and spray out cards shot and the color checked.
The link below shows this on a solid orange color if you are interested. You can go through the entire thread if you choose or go to POST #48 and go from there to the end. This color was tinted so it could be but-matched and not blended.
