Standing mile
Anyone try the "standing" mile contests?
If so I'm interested in your findings. Here are some questions I could think of:
1. What did you drive?
2. What speed did you achieve?
3. How much horsepower & torque to the ground?
4. Transmission gearing (man, auto, M6, M12, custom 5th/6th gears)?
5. Did you augment you brakes?
6. How much distance needed to slow down & stop?
7. Did you do any aerodynamic tweaking (lower car, vent hood, etc).
8. Comments?
Here are a few bench marks:

Stock C6 Coupe - Speed at 1 mile: 154.0 mph/32.7 secs.

Stock C6 Z06 - Speed at 1 mile: 174.09 mph /29.30 secs.
LPE Turbo C6 - Speed at 1 mile: 211.7 (shifting from 1st to 3rd, skipping 2nd)
