Pitt, Wish you had some Vids from the test... but as far as what I see on these runs is the truck bounces off the line.. look close and you can see it bounce a couple times right off the line.. Just a thought..

Exactly...that is why I was questioning the change of gears in my original post. I need to be able to stab the throttle from idle to get any gains from the stall.
Pitt, Yep, I was getting too that as well, just wanted you to see what I saw... Well, it's not a truck, but I had better 60's with my 3.42 than i did with the 3.73 So what does that tell you....Does not make sense but that's what happened... Now that being said, I did pickup speed in the 1/8 th with the 3.73's... 3.42 = 97.+ 3.73 = 100 but the car ran 10.71 to 10.75 with either rear.
So my thinking is that if you go with the 3.73's or 3.90's it should net a better 60 because you won't be spinning so bad off the line, you might lose some speed in the 1/8th but you would pick it back up on the big end.. That's jusy my take on it...

my numbers off old timeslips with the same h/c setup.10/17/08 1.593-60ft, 1/8- 7.191 at 95.37, and 1/4-11.311 at 117.78 at etown track prep was good, temp 56 degrees with 3.42 gears and 3200stall. with 3.73 and 3600 stall at t/t at atco on 12/05/08 and the track prep excellent.temp46 degrees 60ft- 1.479, 1/8-6.948 at 96.84 and 1/.4 -10.974 at123.66. there are some variables here stall,track prep and temp. conclusion is i picked up almost 6mph top end and.337 secs. .114 on the 60ft and .243 in 1/8 and about 1.5 mph .draw your own conclusions from these numbers. hope it helps. all cars are not created equally
