Rob whats the race weight of your car ??
Good luck man..

I think there are only two N/A LSX Cars with Manual transmission in mid 8
SAM Racing 434ci 8.5@150+mph
Joey 403ci (SixSpeedinc) also mid 8sec and over 150mph..

But both cars have over 750+rwhp N/A

True, and only one of those two did it with a 6 speed manual (I believe the other was a 4 speed?).
The most impressive part about those two cars is their respective raceweights (verified by the NMCA/LSx Shootout type events that they've competed at). I know their best/all out mid-high 8 second passes were at lighter weights but they've both gone very low 9s/high 8s at over 3300+ pounds as well I think.
But then again...they also did that with more cubic inches, on solid (4.56 or higher) rears with full torque arm drag race suspensions and as far as I know are strictly 'trailered only' race cars. Rob's car might not be driving out to CA any time soon but it can still be (and is) street driven.
If Rob gets even anywhere closer to their current numbers with an IRS and what is considered by many to still be a fully streetable suspension set up that's a HUGE accomplishment right there (hell, it already is at 9.3s).

I'm well aware of those cars that were built to run 8's and are full race cars.
They both make soo much more than 750rwhp.

I chat with Joe Honecutt from time to time, I know him and his car well, and if I'm even mentioned in the same breath as the SAMS car then I'm doing something right. My car was setup by a bunch of friends and myself in a few months in a my garage.
Thats a stark contrast to having one of the best Automotive schools in the country build a car.
My car wasn't built to run 8's.
It's all good.
Again, the goal is to try and touch the 8's with under 400 cubes, once, on a small drag radial (255-275mm)driven to the track in a vette.

This is Rob lol

That's what all the prior AA people say !!

Good luck !! It always sounded like.... if you could have worked the bugs out of the pcm and manifold, you would have hit an 8 anyway !!

You probably left 50+ on the table with all the short shifting. Did you get the 7000 PCM limit worked out yet ?

Rob Please dont take my comment in any way negative to your setup or your car I really wish you the best of luck I really want to see N/A M6 true street Vette enter 8sec club since both other cars are Camaros and not a stret cars like yours.....

IMO yours will be even a bigger achievement since it was build by you and a couple of friends and still a street car

Best of luck..

Update: The plan is in motion. I'm hoping the car will be ready to take some passes in about 8-10 weeks. Alot to do and test. Hope everything actually works.
