Howdy,
I just got my car back from the shop and haven't ever tracked it. The engine was just forged, has an A@A procharger, comp custom cam no idea on the specs, 3200 stall, automatic and 342 gears. I was told on the very conservative dyno it has 507 rwhp. I'm curious if I decide to take it to the track what I should be launching at? Also what my 1/4 should be with 305 nitto's 555's on 18 inch rims.

On your very first pass (even first few passes) I would only launch it at idle and see where you're at/how the car responds etc. That's a decent amount of power and there are a lot of unknowns so you have to ease into it if you're not very experienced at this.

Take a couple passes to figure out how your car responds.
it can get squirly really quickly, so be carefull.
Ok so they aren't actually drag radials (they might even be 'all season' tires?) which means you might be facing some wheelspin from a standing start with anything but the lightest of throttle input.
Assuming that the car is full weight and tuned properly, you probably have enough to go mid to low 11s on those tires during the summer months, on a real (M/T, BFG, Hoosier etc.) drag radial with some weight reduction and in cooler weather it could possibly go low 10s/high 9s depending on boost levels. .

I agree.
It might take some super concentration on those tires, and a few passes to get it right. Being consistant with a lot of wheel spin is a real challenge. However...pure fun
