FP...the loser of this gets the rear of his vette taped like your buddy's did to yours for a forum photo shot
count me in. ill supply the window decal for the loser. must have decal on car for entire trip home and post pic on forum, but with this decal im sure someone will take a pic at rental and post for you. would look good on a 2003 z
Any info on the setup? whos is it? cost? where to buy?
I have a similar situation with my 403 stroker
Yeah, GZ Motorsports. They make the pump kits for Vettes and GTO's. Greg is great to work with. We had to do some custom stuff to fit my truck. Cost was under $800, not sure of exact price. All quality stuff.
You can run either a belt to the crank for electric water pumps or a belt off the tensioner (they supply a different pulley) if you are running a stock water pump.
I needed a special tooth pully to go with my under drive pully. I think mine was a 36 tooth instead of the normal. Be sure you get a regulator if you don't buy the kit. You have to adjust the vaccum to around 11 inches of vaccum at WOT. Any more than that and it will suck the oil from the pan.

Ok.... we may have to scrape my current decal off though
All right, that is FP and PIB that says Pitt is going down !! You guys have no faith or loyality for gods sake !!
Pitt you and my idol Fartpipe match up nicely. Can we please do at least some heads up racing @ MIR 2.
I agree on this one atleast. Everyone keeping one lane warm was pooo!!!! My new wheels that I'm praying can be made to fit will be here tomorrow. Got a line loc, aluminum hatted 2pc rotors for the front, possibly picking up a light weight battery next week, got my VARARAM today aswell, want to get it fitted up and take the car to the track with both intakes there to test if possible. Sad thing is I need to run it out the back door to test properly. I'm hoping the vararam is my ticket to 131mph+ in the warmer weather. Then to 134mph pittman killing MPH in cold weather LMAO! You know I love ya Pitt..... however you better get the practicing.... I will

FWIW: My SPDC short block 403 had a ton of blowby from day one. Not enough to blow the dip stick out but enough to have me configuring the venting about 8 different ways.
The 427 has almost none. The valve covers - no baffles - vent directly to the down tube before the MAF and it stays perfectly clean.
