First pass out last night with a 10 mph headwind and over 1000 DA, my Z06 went 10s for the first time. This was my first 10 second pass ever, so I was pretty excited.
Special thanks goes out to Lutz Performance, who worked tirelessly to get the car done last weekend, and Chris Weber (CBRTRX) who has helped me every step of the way, installed the nitrous kit to run flawlessly and tuned the car to make safe, reliable power.

I remember my first 10sec run like it was yesterday. The feeling could only be compared to being set up on a blind date with a EX-Dallas cheerleader that has a sex addiction.
Important Mods are as follows:
Texas Speed ported LS6 heads (like the first sets they ever did) with dual springs
Patrick G 230/234 cam
Kooks 1 7/8 headers
RPM Level 5 Trans
RPM Stage 3 Diff w/ 3.73 gear
ECS Brace
DSS couplers
Torque Tube completely rebuilt
Monster Stage 3 clutch (working great!)
Bogart D10s with M&H slicks and skinnies
100 dry shot post maf installed and tuned by CBRTRX
Did an 11.60 @ 121 on motor the week before this pass with terrible track prep and 80 degree temps.
Hoping to hone my driving skills to get that 60 down as low as possible before increasing the shot. Probably need a 150 shot to go 9s with a 1.4 60.

Did you run those times at BMP? If so, how was the track prep?
Get some more seat time and you'll get your short times down to 1.5's easily and that should net you mid 10's for sure. Still messing with mine, but not getting to the track but a few times a year so I still need to work out some kinks. There's a good chance I'm bringing the car to FL next month for some fun and games and BMP is definitely on the agenda. How are they about enforcing the 11.5 roll bar run on test and tune days? It's sure getting old getting booted for busting 11.5! Keep in touch and keep improving!

Yes to BMP. Prep is so hit or miss. Don't think it was especially good for that run and got worse throughout the night. Yeah, I don't think you need to fret about getting booted from BMP on a T&T night. They are pretty lax. I try to make it out on most Thursday nights, so shoot me a PM if you plan on heading out there with your cell!
