Seat time is important, but doing the right things are more important. Check out Ranger's dissertation to get you started.

An image of a timeslip is only necessary for a top 10 submission for the C5Z Fast List. Here's a link with all of the rules.

When launching in the new one what are your rpms at? Roughly...

When I tried from nothing it felt liked it bogged down.
When I revved around 3000-4000 the clutch would stick and I couldnt get it into 2nd. And stinks like a sob I know cause I burned it up. It only did it when I revved before launching.

Do you have the same issues? Or is it just me?

Oh and I really appriciate you guys input.
Haha well you shouldn't feel bad with all that power you need some decent tires.

Think how I feel going from running 11.6's in stock Z to 13's in one with 200 more hp. Lol

I tried launching it at 2500 but it would just spin like hell and there was really no point I did about 3 runs and quit. LOL

As for your clutch sticking to the floor try doing the Ranger mod look it up on youtube and you'll find what I'm talking about. Basically flushing the clutch fluid out of the master that can cause sticky pedal issues I do it about once a month and everytime I would go to the track.

Also what kind of power are you putting down and clutch? If your running on your stock clutch you should think twice about bolting on slicks or DR's and launching it or you may end up stranded. Lol

I know my stock one is starting to go but I'm about to put a new Monster stage 3 in.

Ha i hear ya, I almost gave up myself but wanted to try and do better.

I have done the ranger thing a few times. Did it a couple of days before going to the track. I guess I will have to do it more often though. I believe it has a Z06 clutch in it but I should probably get another. Well heck I might have to wait now to get some slicks or DRs I don't want to break stuff to quick and easy.

I have a sheet from a few years ago that says 419 but I doubt it. I believe it should be more... I need to get it dyno'd but I want to put a cam and heads and complete new exhaust from the heads back. So not sure if I want to waste the time and money.

Monster huh?? I am unsure as to which brand to get there are so many.....

I will check out that ranger dissertation to get you started as well.

I appreciate you guys help
