Thanks Joe....and yeah, that is the same jack I have now. About the idea statement.....I'm referring to easy ways to jack it and stabilize it....not jacks in general. As everyone is well aware of.......these cars are LOW. I have to drive up a ramp or piece of wood to just get the jack under it...lol.
I just thought that with all the cars that see track duty, someone would have it down to a science. With out dragging jack stands and ramps to the track...etc...etc.
Just looking for the most (kiss) method at the track. Because 90% of the time it will be what ever I can fit in the trunk...lol.
And video clip was meant to be a joke.....I didnt really think they were under the car.
I do have a system. I learned that if you put the jack on the front jacking point, it'll lift the entire side of the car up...great for swapping tires now that I use GTO skinnies up front. and change all 4. I stopped doing it at the track (it rains too much) so now I just do it at home and get new DR's when they are bald.
My trailer ramps are 12 feet long so I just drive up on them. I can then access the entire bottom of the car.
The are hinged at the top and expand. You can use my ramps if you make it to MIR.
I also have that alu racing jack..great and light weight.
I haul my low profile aluminum jack that fits under mine which is lowered 3/4", along with electric impact, and 4 tires. Even done it twice with a passenger, but both were 5'
Not mine. Notice in the back is a Busa and a 10 second Harly Roadking fully dressed. That is my buddy Rick's. We are lowering the body on his C6 this weekend. New 402 stroker and procharger for the MIR gathering.
